Are you waiting for a hospital appointment, operation, or treatment?  Make sure you visit My Planned Care.

My Planned Care offers the latest information and support for people waiting for hospital procedures and treatments, including your likely operation or procedure wait times at the provider your have been referred to. 

The website is updated weekly and is easy-to-use and open access.

Visit the website to instantly find out the latest information without having to call the GP practice.

 

What to do when GP referred you to hospital

 

There are 3 different pathways your GP can refer you. 

  • 2ww - urgent referral - you will hear from hospital directly to be triaged
  • Regular - you will be emailed / will recieve notification on your NHS App with next steps to get an appointment 
  • Private - Our secretary will provide you with a letter to book your appointent yourself with your chosen provider 

 

It is essential that we have your contact details up-to-date 

If you have NHS App you will be contacted via the App

If you do not have access to email or NHS App then your referral letter will be placed in reception for collection (this can take more then 14 days)

 

Any queries related to the referrals that exceed the waiting time stated above please email secretary.willenhall@nhs.net 

Referrals and making sure your appointment is booke remains responsibility of the patient therefore please make sure that you follow up on the actions above.
